Saturday, October 7 – Fall Leaf Tour and Annual Meeting Details
Pete will be leading another great fall leaf tour next month, Saturday, October 7. It’ll be a crisp autumn day morning tour followed by lunch and the annual member’s meeting. Important meeting – election of club officers!
Meet at 0900 at the Irving Gas Station, 213 Paine Turnpike N, Berlin, 05062.
After the briefing, tour leaves at 0930. Tour will end at about 12 to 12:30 at The Happy Hour Family Restaurant 42 Main St, Wells River.
We will have lunch and hold the Annual Meeting. The cost for lunch will be $30.00 and members can sign up through MotorsportReg. (We’ll send the link next newsletter). Members wishing to attend the meeting and not the tour also need to sign up if they are planning to have lunch. If you don’t want to sign up through Motorsport (but please do!), then please RSVP email GMT treasurer Christina McCaffrey and you can pay her at the lunch.
IMPORTANT: This will be the election of officers. The slate will be posted soon. If you wish to run for an office, contact Bill Root. Bill, who has done a great job as president for two terms, is term-limited out now and we must elect a new president and other officers. ALL MEMBERS are urged to attend! This would be a great time for a volunteer to step up as events chair and join the board. Let us know if you’re interested by sending an emal to our communications director Sandy at: firstname.lastname@example.org or Bill at: email@example.com
